In a couple of hours you will create your very own gorgeous, scented  Christmas Wreath to adorn your door.   

First you will  create the eco-friendly base, by learning to weave a simple circular shape using vine and willow.    The techniques used in this construction are skills that can be used for making future wreaths from scratch and a great introduction to willow weaving.

The next part of the wreath making process is the creative part where you get to learn to bind your chosen foliage onto the wreath base.    There is a large range of fresh leaves, berries, and variegated foliage to choose from to ensure that you create a unique wreath that reflects your style and personality.

The final and most fun where you can decorate your wreath using cones, dried fruit, or set it off with a stunning bow.   You could even add some twinkling fairy lights for a sparkling addition to your Christmas Decor.

At each and every step of the way, you will be guided from start to finish by an experienced tutor in a relaxed but fun environment.

Announce the start of the Festive season this year, by hanging  a beautiful  handmade Christmas Wreath on your front door that you have created.   Don't settle for the faded artificial wreath, dusty  from the attic,  but learn how to make your very own  fresh, Evergreen Christmas Wreath from scratch.

Each workshop in a box will contain everything one needs to make a gorgeous,  fresh scented traditional Christmas wreath.   This will include varied types of  lush Evergreen foliage, berries, oranges , cones and other complimentary dried material.  Additionally the wreath can be  personalised and stylized to  match a specific  colour scheme  for a  bespoke Christmas Wreath that is  reflective of your style and personality.

There is no need for any past floral experience as you will be taken through the process, step and step  from creating the base of the wreath to the finished product.

The tree is dressed, the wreath is up, but the decorating is not quite finished.   The most important  family meal of the year is going to take place and would not be the same without a stunning table centrepiece  to make the Festive Feast complete.   

So this year it is the perfect opportunity to join our workshop in learning how to arrange and  style the perfect Christmas Centrepiece for your table guided by a professional Florist.    You will be given invaluable guidance and professional trade secrets and shown how to create the perfect centrepiece, either circular or oval shaped, which will be fit to grace  any Christmas Table.

 Using scented seasonal evergreens, holly, pine cones,  berries, with complimentary dried decorations such as orange slices, seed heads, cones  all beautifully arranged around a non drip candle of your choice.  (Pillar  in Ivory or tapered candle in white or red) will ensure that it will be the focal point on  your dinner table.

The arrangement will not only make a lovely unique decoration but the floristry skills that you learn at this workshop can be reused for future dinner parties and celebrations.

Incorporating Flowering Spring Bulbs & Foliage on a natural base!

It's time to brighten up your door and bring some joy to your home once again with a gorgeous Living Spring Bulb Wreath. Alternatively, these beautiful 'on trend' and, more importantly, sustainable wreaths,  will brighten an interior wall and are perfect for early Spring, Mother's Day and Easter Gifts.     

You will love making these all natural wreaths either in a circular or tear drop shape (Ideal for Easter)  that appeal to both gardeners and crafters.  First,  you will learn to create and weave a beautiful willow/birch  wreath base and cover it with a layer of moss as a foundation for the beautiful springtime bulbs and seasonal foraged treasures.  

You will be guided step by step through the process of binding on the bulbs and arranging the additional foliage on the wreath to ensure a unique and personalised wreath.  Depending on seasonal availability,  there will be a selection of mixed bulbs eg. Hyacinths, Muscari, Narcissus,Tête-à-Tête' Crocus or Tulips.

Once completed the wreath will evolve and grow and If watered weekly, the different bulbs will gradually grow and bloom  over the weeks ensuring a wonderful splash of colour and a warm welcome to visitors, passers by and yourself each time you return home.     
The wreath is completely sustainable as after flowering, the  bulbs can be planted out in the garden or stored in a cool, dark place for the following year. The wreath base can also be reused, making it extremely eco -friendly.

Including flowering bulbs is unusual so the living wreath will keep on changing as they flower. Our teacher was warm and welcoming and gave clear, easy to follow instructions. Learn to make a beautiful handcrafted Living Spring Wreath.  Craft a natural, handmade base using willow and decorate with flowering bulbs and seasonal foliage 

With this class you will develop two new skills namely 
1.  Weaving:   You will learn how to prepare your willow and weave it into a simple circular shape.    Once you have mastered this technique you will be able to weave your own bases for other seasonal wreaths, Christmas etc.

 2.  Flower Arranging:   You will be taught basic  Floristry Techniques and tricks of the trade from wiring, to the construction of the arrangement and design to create a natural looking arrangement.

Both of these skills are transferable and will provide the basics of weaving and flower arranging.   No need to worry about anything as apart from a strong and sharp pair of secateurs,  the kit will contain everything you need to create a fabulous Spring Wreath, that will brighten up your door or wall of your home.
